Press Release: Oct 8, 2023
To our Community:
The Jewish Federation of El Paso & Las Cruces (JFedEPLC), ADL Southwest (the Anti-Defamation League), Chabad Lubavitch of El Paso, Congregation B’nai Zion, and Temple Mount Sinai are shocked and heartbroken by the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas during the holidays of Shmini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, and Shabbat. Hamas terrorists launched a series of unprecedented attacks on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, killing hundreds of Israelis, and wounding thousands more. This unprecedented attack on a sovereign nation and innocent people should be strongly condemned in the International arena and by Israel’s allies. The United States and the State of Texas should stand with the Israeli people during this dangerous and uncertain time.
Now, more than ever, it is critical that we come together and publicly display our strong support for Israel and the people who live there.
Join us for a Community Gathering in Solidarity of Israel

Once again, the brave military forces of the State of Israel are responding and will defend our beloved Jewish state. And once again the Jewish communities of North America stand in total and complete solidarity with our Israeli brethren. We pray for their safety and will do everything we can to ensure their efforts' complete and total success.
Once again, the Jewish Federations across North America will act immediately and comprehensively to support our brothers and sisters as they defend Israel.
